In our geography class, we are learning about the states of Europe and their capitals. We started by locating the states and capitals in the atlas and filling in the table in our geography workbook. We also have a carpet with a political map of Europe in our classroom. We labeled the states and capitals on the carpet with index cards.

Now we are working on memorizing all the states and capitals. We are using Quizlet to help us study. Quizlet is a great way to learn vocabulary and other information. It is a free website and app that allows you to create flashcards, quizzes, and other study materials.
We find that using a variety of methods is helpful when learning the states and capitals of Europe. We are using the atlas, the carpet, and Quizlet. We also quiz each other and review the information regularly.
We are making good progress and are confident that we will soon know all the states and capitals of Europe.
