On November 28th, our Year 5 bilingual geography class marked a significant milestone with their first test of the year. The 22 students, who have been exploring the fascinating world of geography through both German and English, tackled two engaging topics: Our Solar System and Atlas Work.
For the Atlas Work section, students were encouraged to use the Collins Atlas as a valuable resource, deepening their understanding of maps and geographical concepts.
We are delighted to share that 11 students achieved an outstanding “Sehr gut” on the test, and the class average was an impressive 1,6. These results are a testament to the students’ hard work, the engaging nature of the bilingual curriculum, and the excellent teaching provided.
It’s important to note that this bilingual program is partially funded by EU grants, allowing us to offer our students a unique and enriching educational experience.
We congratulate all our Year 5 geographers on their achievements and look forward to their continued exploration of the world around us.
