During this year’s summer school, native speaker and musician Ashok Dhillon is staying as a guest in Mariastein at the Gasthof Kammerhof, bringing an inspiring and practical English-learning experience to local students.

His involvement with the children begins early each morning: Ashok accompanies the students on their bus ride from Mariastein to Langkampfen. English is spoken right from the commute, creating a friendly and immersive language environment before the school day even officially starts.
Throughout the program, Ashok visits every group to conduct interactive English conversation sessions. A special highlight took place right at the beginning of the summer school when the children, together with Ashok, sang a song by Bruno Mars for Federal Minister Christoph Wiederkehr. Following the musical performance, they discussed the vital importance of actively using and applying the English language in real life.
The summer school continues next week, offering the children many more opportunities for engaging English conversations and activities.
