On the second day of school, our second-grade classes visited the Haus der Natur. We were the only school at the museum that day. I have never seen the museum so empty! It was very pleasant because we had plenty of space and it was very quiet.
We took part in two tours and one workshop. One tour was in English, and the topic was reptiles. The reptile section was recently renovated. The students even got to hold a real snake!
The students understood the English tour very well. It was a wonderful experience, and we would love to book another English tour later this school year!

Frieda looks through a stereo microscope to see which lice are hiding under a leaf.
In the workshop, the students learned about microscopy and looked at items under microscopes.
We would like to thank the team at Haus der Natur for the wonderful tours, the fun workshop, and the perfect organization!
